Clik here to view.In a somewhat ‘interesting’ career move, Jeyar Kumar, previously CEO at Mumbai-based Patni (now part of iGate), has come on board as CEO for Asia Pacific at US-based, privately held remote infrastructure management (RIM) services player, IPsoft (see Autonomics does it for IPsoft). Kumar had previously led Mumbai-based Mphasis (now part of HP).
IPsoft is a smaller outfit than the erstwhile Patni, and Kumar is only running a small – but nevertheless strategically important – chunk of it. Perhaps tellingly, Kumar is the only one of IPsoft’s regional managers that carries the CEO title – the others are all tagged as MDs, including Terry Walby, who runs IPsoft’s UK business. So, has IPsoft founder, president and CEO, Chetan Dube finally anointed an heir to the throne, I wonder?
