A “cautious but confident” Chairman Chris Winn will address Sanderson Group’s AGM today. The financial position and outlook for the Group, which focuses on the multi-channel retail and manufacturing sectors, hasn’t changed much since the full year results in November (see Sanderson ‘momentum’). Winn will report a higher level of sales prospects, a strong order book and good cash generation.
The big news though is that the Group launched, as planned and on schedule, its ‘UnityExpress’ products on a software-as-a-service (SaaS) basis at the beginning of March. This should give a further boost to the already impressive level of recurring revenues (>50%). With a focus on smaller manufacturing companies looking to move to their first or second enterprise-wide system, Sanderson must also be hoping it can attract some new customers. In the 5 months of the financial year to date, the company has attracted nine new customers compared to 28 during the whole of the previous year.
