Infosys swaps Europe head’s day job

Second-ranked India-based offshore services player, Infosys, is doing a bit more top management grooming. BG Srinivas (pictured), who doubles up as Infosys’ head of Europe, is swapping his day job as Global Head of Manufacturing, Engineering Services, and Enterprise Mobility, with that of Ashok Vemuri, Global Head of Financial Services & Insurance. Vemuri is also head of Americas. This is in effect a promotion for ‘BG’, with BFSI accounting for some 35% of Infosys’ revenues, vs 20% for Manufacturing. BG remains in charge of Europe, though - so let’s hope this move doesn’t detract him too much from looking after his geo patch!
