Lawrie to do a ‘Misys job’ on CSC?

Wow – that one came out of left field! Hardly has Mike Lawrie walked out the door at Misys, than we hear he’s about to do it all over again at CSC. This is absolutely the best news we could have hoped for in terms of the prospects for CSC. It’s hard to think of a person that has a better chance of preventing the company sinking into inglorious irrelevance. But the implications are clear. The CSC that will eventually emerge from Lawrie’s reign will look little like the company it is today. Indeed, will it even be called CSC? We will have much more to say on this in coming days.
