Capgemini update: HMRC Aspire has major impact

We commented this morning on the dismal performance of Capgemini’s UK public sector business indicated by the company’s FY11 financial results (see Capgemini UK margins squeezed). This morning, management gave more detail on exactly what is happening in the sector, which contributes 70% of the company’s UK revenues, and on the progress it is making in protecting its profit margins despite the tough conditions.
