Clik here to view.CSC has extended its IT outsourcing contract with Transport for London (TfL) in a deal valued at $33m over 27 months. CSC has managed and supported TfL’s desktop and service desk since January 2007, when it took over from Logica. Under the latest contract it will continue to manage a range of IT services for TfL including the delivery of real-time customer information at a number of underground stations. CSC has a strong footprint in the European transport sector – other customers include Network Rail, Thalys and SNCF – and will be pleased to have retained this deal in a competitive UK market.
