InternetQ racking in new business

Hot on the heels of its healthy year-end results (see here), mobile marketing and entertainment solutions provider InternetQ has come out with a trading update showing a strong new business pipeline for its mobile marketing solution and AKAZOO social music network. The good news for the vendor is that it is seeing accelerated growth in eastern Europe, Russia, Turkey and southeast Asia. UK and the rest of Europe are conspicuous by their absence in the trading update and the year-end results. What we are seeing is that the greatest growth is in the expanding economies, which is not surprising. What is surprising is the limited interest in mobile marketing shown by the leading software vendors despite it being identified as a important trend for 2012 and the high levels of growth in smart mobile devices.
