This morning we reported on Capgemini’s financial results for Q1 12 (see Capgemini records UK recovery), which revealed UK & Ireland revenues growing at their fastest pace for the past four quarters. The 3.9% y-on-y like-for-like growth (to Eur510m) was a better result than the rest of Europe in aggregate. Top line revenue growth in the UK was 6.5%.
But the UK & Ireland business is a peculiar beast. One might be forgiven for thinking it were two different businesses: first there is Aspire (the part of the business that runs Capgemini’s long-term IT services strategic partnership with HMRC) and then there is ‘the rest’. In HotViewsExtra, Georgina O'Toole looks 'under the covers' at the performance of Capgemini's UK business.
