Kewill joins ‘Dearly Departed’

And so it has come to pass that UK-headquartered supply chain and e-commerce software firm Kewill leaves the London Stock Exchange now that its takeover by US private equity firm, Francisco Partners is complete (see Music stops for Symphony, leaves Kewill’s heart to Francisco). Kewill listed on London’s main market in September 1995. Francisco has about 20 software and IT services companies in its portfolio and as best as I can tell, Kewill is the only one from this side of the pond. Let’s hope its new owners can help realise the potential that Kewill was seemingly unable to unlock alone.
