Clik here to view.In its latest top-level change, SAP UK and Ireland is putting the division into known safe hands with the reappointment of Tim Noble. This is a positive move by the company and a sign that it wants solidity and continuity in one of its major markets.
Noble was MD of UK and Ireland from 2009 to 2011 when he moved on to take a wider role in EMEA. SAP’s level of faith in him is clear to see - he will have a dual role as SVP of EMEA, and UK and Ireland MD. He replaces interim UK head Fred Hessabi, who in turn replaced Steve Winters who moved onto a new role within SAP after six months in the UK position (see SAP UK: quick change on the MD front). Noble reprises his role at an opportune time – our conversations with SAP partners indicate that HANA sales in the UK are on a good trajectory and SAP is poised – indeed needs – to move forward with its cloud strategy.
