Clik here to view.UK BPO leader Capita has been awarded one of three contracts by the Department for Work and Pensions to deliver Personal Independence Payments assessments. Capita will look after central England and Wales in a deal likely to be worth c.£140m over 5 years. Capita seems to be on a bit of a roll in central government of late. Just the other day they were one of four players awarded contracts in the Department of Health framework agreement for the provision of health-related managed contact centre services (see here).
