Smaller deals in European tech M&A

chartThere were as many tech M&A deals in Europe in July this year as last, but the aggregate value was 35% lower, according to latest data from Regent Partners International. Valuation multiples were also lower on a yoy basis though remained reasonably stable compared with June.

The UK contributed its fair share of deals last month, including the acquisition of Poole-based Wireless Data Services by Xerox (see here), Yorkshire-based warehouse management provider Delta Software by Access Group (see here), serial mid-market acquirer 6 Degrees Group's 11th acquisition, that of Surrey-based Cloud Computing Centre (see here), and Watford-based Xmbrace’s acquisition of Cheshire-based mobile scheduling software and field force automation specialist, Kirona (see here).
