Scotland’s Amor Group has made the scale of its ambitions in the UK public sector IT market clear with the appointment of Joe Harley CBE, former UK Government and DWP CIO, as a non-exec advisor. Harley is well respected in government circles having retired from the top government IT role at the end of last year (see UK Government CIO to retire). His advice should be valuable to Amor, which already has a growing UK public sector business – revenue from the sector roughly doubled last year – and ambitions to strengthen it further with a ‘significant’ acquisition (see Amor puts in a strong performance).
