We at TechMarketView are incredibly proud about the very positive feedback we have received on our Little British Battler initiative, especially from the dozen small, privately held UK software and IT services companies that we have so far featured in the programme (see Little British Battlers – where they are now and associated posts).
We are also keen to support other industry initiatives which we think will help UK start-ups reach a wider audience and market. One such is the FinTech Innovation Lab London, launched by Accenture in conjunction with leading banks and venture capital companies, and supported by the Mayor of London, the City of London Corporation and the Technology Strategy Board.
The FinTech Innovation Lab London is open to early- and growth-stage companies that are developing cutting-edge technologies for the financial services sector, particularly in the areas of mobile, data management, analytics, security, and social media. Aspiring entrepreneurs with promising ideas will get the opportunity to refine and test their financial technologies with programme partners at the FinTech Innovation Lab in London. At the end of the 12-week programme, winners have the opportunity to present their concepts to chief technology officers and senior technology executives from participating firms and potential investors.
