It was only a week ago that we commented on an optimistic set of full year results from Digital Barriers– see Digital Barriers: profitability in sight. Today the provider of specialist surveillance technologies has announced a couple of wins that are significant to the achievement of its strategic goals.
The first, valued at £3.6m, is with an existing UK-based customer. It is significant because it is for an integrated solution that includes technologies and capabilities from across the Group. That is exactly the sort of UK reference site that will be crucial as Digital Barriers seeks to win similar contracts internationally.
The second is for a lower value - £400K – but is also significant as it is with a Government customer in Asia Pacific and confirms the Group’s ability to move beyond piloting and testing with customers in this region. It gives further reassurance that the Group will be able to achieve similar penetration into the North American and Middle Eastern markets.
