Clik here to view.Natural language search start-up Isis Forensics, has secured a ‘significant’ investment from The North West Fund for Venture Capital and Lancashire County Council’s Rosebud Fund. Isis Forensics is a spin-out from Lancaster University and was founded in 2007. As part of the funding arrangement, ex-SurfControl executive Patrick Jolly was appointed non-exec chairman. Isis Forensics software has application in law enforcement where it claims to be able detect adults masquerading as children and grooming victims in internet chatrooms. Seems to be pushing the ‘right’ buttons, then.
