We recently met with Mark Fowle, CEO of Attenda, for a strategy update. The company’s main revenue stream comes from managing business critical applications – primarily hosted in its three UK data centres. Attenda operates in the mid-market where customers are typically either outgrowing their own in-house IT capability or an existing hosting provider. The company’s sweet spot is enterprises with an annual IT budget in excess of £2m. Current clients include Princes, where Attenda manages the SAP systems, up to and including the SAP technology layer; and Travelodge where it operates the e-commerce site, the hotel’s primary revenue source.
