CGI announces unified go-to-market brand

CGI_new_logo_2013Although the Logica brand as we’d known it was ‘retired’ on completion of its acquisition by CGI on August 20th 2012 (see Logica remembered) – as was the strapline ‘Be Brilliant Together’ -  the company continued to go to market as ‘Logica: a CGI company’.

That all changed on Monday when CGI updated its brand to represent a “historic milestone”: the doubling of its size and geographic footprint following the close of the Logica transaction. Logica will now go to market under the unified CGI brand.

The updated CGI branding also includes the “evolution of the CGI logo”, which has been enlarged and simplified. The CGI tagline remains unchanged: “experience the commitment”. With the integration of Logica into CGI underway, ‘commitment’ will be key for clients in what has the potential to be a disruptive period.
