As a result of our coverage of BT’s success on the Tri-Borough competition (see BT winner of London tri-borough deal), we were delighted to hear from one of TechMarketView’s Little British Battlers (LBBs) from last year’s event. CentraStage (see Little British Battlers – Q1 report, LBB Update: CentraStage, a pivotal year, and CentraStage punches above its weight), – which offers cloud-based IT management software targeted at organisations managing a distributed IT infrastructure, has also been selected by the Tri-Borough Shared Services organisation for the provision of technology to underpin the IT service delivery into all schools across Westminster, Hammersmith & Fulham, and Kensington & Chelsea.
Christian Nagele, CEO at CentraStage, believes that its success can be put down to the nature of the technology on offer – low capex, quick ‘time to value’, and flexibility and scalability. We highlighted in our analysis of CentraStage that the education and local government markets would provide plenty of opportunities for growth. As those sectors increasingly turn to shared services involving multiple organisations and mulitple devices, the type of technology offered by CentraStage will be increasingly in demand.
