Earlier in February, Dell finally announced the deal that will enable it to slip out of the limelight and become a private company (see Dell deal announced). Just days before, we were briefed by Tom Callaghan - who leads Dell’s cloud services business in EMEA. He talked us through the company’s Infrastructure-as-a-service, Desktop-as-a-Service, and High Performance Computing-as-a-Service offerings, all of which are quite new to the market.
