Data centre provider, Telecity, has announced a strong set of results for FY12. Revenue increased 18% on the previous year to reach £283m. Operating profit climbed to £84.2m, taking the margin up from 27.27% to 29.75%. As previewed in November (see Telecity on track to hit full-year target), the firm is performing well on a number of fronts and heads into 2013 confident of another “strong operating and financial performance”.
In December the company announced that Rob Coupland would take over from longstanding UK MD, Adriaan Oosthoek (see Telecity gets new UK MD). We will be catching up with Coupland shortly to learn more about his plans for the coming year.
