Butterfield looking to start another ITSA

Judging from the latest update on his LinkedIn page, IT recruitment ‘veteran’ Jon Butterfield is set to start all over again in the ITSA (IT staff agency) business. In January Butterfield parted company with ReThink Group, the prior ITSA he founded (see ReThink rethinks CEO), days before issuing a second profit warning (see ReThink rethinks profits). Butterfield was to stay on with RTG in a ‘consulting capacity’ until the end of the year, though one wonders whether this engagement may be curtailed by dint of his proposed new venture, a London-based IT contractor recruitment business. It must be addictive as I can’t think of any other reason why someone would want to start yet another ITSA in these grim times.
