Zuora: management for the subscription age

LogoOne of the challenges the SaaS model has to square up to during 2013 is breaking into the back office in a meaningful way – in terms of the areas of functionality entrusted to SaaS solutions and the amount of subscription revenue providers can generate from back office adoption. Simply replicating on-premise strategies and solutions in the cloud is not a long term solution which is why SaaS pure-play Zuora is an interesting proposition.

As well as using the SaaS model itself, it provides a SaaS-based back office system for subscription management, which presents a direct challenge to traditional business and financial management systems, and in doing so tackles the back office penetration issue.
