Adecco sees double-digit UK IT recruitment growth

Though UK organic revenue growth was only 3% last quarter (to 31st March), Zurich-based international staffing giant, Adecco, reported that UK IT recruitment revenues grew by 12% organically and by 18% including acquisitions (notably MPS and Spring). IT recruitment represented 11% of Adecco’s €4.9b Q1 revenues. Adecco seems to be reflecting the more positive UK IT recruitment trends seen by peers. However, it must be said that this does not seem to be flowing through to the wider IT services market, judging by the muted growth reported by the UK arms of major European SIs (see Managed services & BPS put Atos UK on top).
