Clik here to view.In an unusual turn of events, it was Irish start-ups that took the largest share of VC tech investment last quarter, according to latest data from corporate finance firm, Ascendant. Irish firms accounted for one-third of the £287m invested, with only 22% going to London-based start-ups. However, London remained the most active region by deal volume, accounting for 24 of the 59 deals. VC investment in UK and Irish tech companies was lower than in Q1 2012, which saw 64 companies invest £298m.
