I caught up this week with Terry Pudwell, executive chairman of cybersecurity ‘Little British Battler’ Assuria, at the partnering event organised by the São Paulo-based Institute of Software Technology. Pudwell is looking for partners to expand the company’s presence in South America (see here), especially Brazil, Chile and Mexico. Assuria has a couple of customers for its legacy ‘enterprise scanner’ product in Brazil and is looking for partners for its new products in those markets.
Pudwell also told me that Assuria, who was one of the original 12 Little British Battlers, is partnering with Malvern-based security software firm Deep Secure (see Deep-Secure takes security to another level) alongside major UK defence contractors. Deep Secure was selected to participate in our most recent Little British Battler event (see here). It really is hugely encouraging to see small but highly focused British tech companies truly punching above their weight in local and export markets.
