Systems and solutions provider to the education sector, Tribal, provided an update on its trading today. The company continues to build on its growth in the first half of the year (see: Tribal shows steady growth in H1), with specific focus on international expansion, as the UK market proves challenging.
The scope of work at University of British Columbia (UBC) in Canada is expanding as is Tribal’s general expansion across North America. It has signed an analytics contract with the University of California, Berkeley. In the schools market, the company is running pilot quality review programmes in New Mexico and Texas and the company expects this to expand across the US during 2014. Also in the schools market, Tribal provides quality review services to New York State Education Department. In Bahrain Tribal has had wins in higher education and in vocational learning.
Closer to home, the company’s student management systems and benchmarking solutions are doing well, with recent wins at Bournemouth University and Imperial College, London. Despite budget constraints in further education market in the UK, vocational learning growth here has been steady. Since the half-year mark, Tribal has added Rhondda Cynon Taff Council and Devon County Council as EBS4 FE college system customers.
Tribal has been busy since June! Steady growth in the UK coupled with impressive international expansion should help Tribal to meet growth expectations for the year.
