Prolinx logoStarting life as a VAR to the education sector in 1997, Little British Battler, Prolinx, has, over the last three years, been transitioning to become a managed services provider.  The journey began when the company won a significant contract with Global Crossing as part of the UK MoD’s Defence Information Infrastructure (DII(F)) programme in 2010; and continued two years ago when founder Andy Weller decided to hand over the management reins to current Managing Director, Mark Forson.

Under Forson, the company has high growth aspirations, aiming to grow company revenues by 25% betwLBB logoeen 2012 and 2014. It currently derives the majority of its revenues from datacentre transformation and end user computing services, with a minor proportion coming from cyber security/information assurance. However, the aim is for cyber assurance to be the future growth engine following recent major investment in a highly secure datacentre.

With government accredited facilities, a high percentage of vetted staff, and best of breed cyber technology partners, this is one SME technology integrator proving it has the capabilities to both partner with and compete with much larger players in the market such as BAE Systems Detica, Cassidian, Selex ES and HP. In the fast growing cyber market, Prolinx highlights that it “need only take the crumbs off the table” to achieve its growth aspirations.
