We have fallen in love with CRM SaaS start-up, Capsule, which has been serving TechMarketView well for some months. Other ‘usual suspect’ CRM products were simply too much like hard work for a (near-)start-up like us.
So we were a bit disappointed to find the ‘system under maintenance’ message when we tried to log in to Capsule this morning. It seems that Capsule hit performance problems on its host (Amazon Web Services) and it’s taking a little longer than they (and we) had hoped to restore normal service.
This sort of thing will be the big challenge for SaaS start-ups relying (as they must) on IaaS (infrastructure as a service) players to host their service – and likewise for IaaS players hoping to host more SaaS start-ups. A lot of ‘learnings’ still to be made.
