I caught up the other day with Andy Yeoman, co-founder and CEO of Little British Battler ‘internet of things’ solution provider Concirrus (see Concirrus connecting the ‘internet of things’). Concirrus constructs and manages turnkey machine-to-machine/internet-of-things application systems on its proprietary hosted platform. Its clients include marquee names in the energy sector among others.
Yeoman seemed very satisfied with the year’s performance and is budgeting to more than double its near-£1m revenues next year. I understand he has received a number of expressions of interest in the business but he would rather look at alternative investment opportunities to accelerate growth.
As we said at the time, At its ‘base’, Concirrus is all about remote monitoring and measurement. But at its ‘peak’ is the analysis of all the data that streams in from connected devices. It is exciting to find all of this in a single ‘package’.
