Carrenza inks WWF deal

carrenzaHosting firm, Carrenza, has inked a deal with WWF International to host up to 60 international websites. The deal comes after WWF was “forced to move from its existing data centre by its previous supplier”. Carrenza will also host WWF’s central IT services, including active directory and Google Search Appliance, on Carrenza technology.

Carrenza - which regular readers will recognise as being one of our most recent Little British Battlers - has developed something of a track record in the charity sector, with organisations such as Comic Relief and Age UK. Outside of this sector, Carrenza has signed customers such as Cineworld and RBS. The company also recently won its first UK Government contract from the Government Digital Service (GDS) to be one of the primary suppliers to host the new GOV.UK web portal (see: LBB Carrenza bags GOV.UK hosting contract).

We estimate that Carrenza’s FY14 revenue (to end March) will top c£4.1m (representing 20% growth), while EBITDA will reach c£1.3m. At that range, Carrenza is of a fairly similar scale to fellow hosting firm, Memset (see Memset: On a government growth curve).
