Troubled digital media and IT recruitment minnow, Nakama (see Nakama still battling profit woes), is looking to sell itself either to AIM IT staffing firm ReThink Group or to privately held IT & Telecoms recruitment company Talent International.
Nakama subsumed moribund peer Highams back in 2011 (see Last waltz for Highams as Nakama reverses in) but the acquisition was not an unqualified success (see Nakama – how to make a profit warning sound like good news). Rethink Group has had its own fair share of woes (see ReThink rethinks Aiimi) though is at least profitable. Talent International is led by recruiter Sandy Khara who cut her teeth at specialist staffing firm Monarch Recruitment. Good luck to them all, I say!
