Industry veteran (but dare I say, younger than me!) David Courtley, has become a non-exec director at ITSA-cum-system house, Parity Group. Courtley had taken a near-10% stake in Parity after its recent fund raising (see Parity makes dash for cash) and has been consulting to the ‘encore’ top team of Philip Swinstead and Paul Davies since November last year.
Most readers will know of Courtley’s extensive tenure at the top of the UK IT services ladder, including 7 years heading Fujitsu Services and as MD at the erstwhile EDS UK. He is also NED at Martyn Ratcliffe’s Sagentia Group (see Sagentia marches onwards and upwards).
There’s no doubting that Courtley knows all there is to know about running a mega-SI. But as we keep on saying, Parity’s ‘knitting’ is recruitment!
