Harvey Nash bucks UK trend

Reporting “robust” yoy growth in the UK & Ireland, Albert Ellis, CEO of UK-based international recruitment, outsourcing and offshoring firm, Harvey Nash, was rather cast against type compared to most of his peers (e.g. see Banking slowdown takes shine off Michael Page). We’ll see the detail in the full H1 report at the end of September, but with teasers such as “20% gross profit growth” and “40% PBT growth” thrown in to today’s half-time trading update, Ellis seemed confident enough to raise the interim div. by 10%. Investors liked what they heard – Harvey Nash’s shares are up 5% as I write.
