In our recent report ‘UK Government ICT strategy: progress and direction’, we commented on the creation of the Government Skunkworks. The first project for the skunkworks was the development of an e-petitions system. An organisation called the Agile Delivery Network was involved in its development.
The ADN is a not-for-profit organisation, made up of a small group of SMEs, “that aims to act as a single interface for when the government is looking to use smaller businesses to deploy applications that can be delivered using agile development”. Partner collaborations are becoming more prevalent and this is the second ‘alliance’ of SMEs we’ve written about of late (see Star launches UK Cloud Alliance).
