Clik here to view. We’ve noticed a lot of moving around in of UK public sector ‘bods’ at the SITS companies over the last few weeks/months. It would be easy to lose track of who is where. Some of the recent ‘musical chairs’ include:
- CSC has appointed Chris Doutney as VP UK Public Sector. He has been taken on from Fujitsu, where he was Business Unit Director, Central Government.
- Janet Grossman (previously of CWW Public Sector) held the position of Director of Strategy and Execution (for all verticals) at CSC, but has now moved on (after just 1 year) to take on a Public Sector role in New Zealand.
- HCL has appointed Deb Lee (previously of Capita) as their Global Head of Government. Malcolm Stirling (previously Public Sector Head at CSC – some years ago) previously held the role of ‘Head of Public Sector’ at HCL but appears to have ‘moved on’. Where to remains a mystery....
- Fujitsu has appointed Nigel Kirby-Green (due to start in October). He was until recently Head of UK public sector at Logica). He joined Logica from Capgemini at the end of 2009. Eithne Wallis previously held the role at Fujitsu.
- Siemens has appointed a Sales Head of Public Sector, Health and Mobile (North West Europe) in the form of Nick Sawbridge (previously VP & GM, Public Sector at Unisys).
- Xerox created a new role – Director and GM of Government – and appointed from inside Xerox in the form of Carlo Longhi.
- Harvey Nash recruited Gary Baily as Director Public Sector and not-for-profit (software development and outsourcing).
Never a dull moment. Who will be next, we wonder?
