Telecity extends its ‘grid’ in Manchester

Telecity CEO, Mike Tobin (he of the pop-up cartoon business cards – no, seriously!), has gone shopping again, picking up Manchester-based co-lo player, UK Grid for £11.7m cash. Previously, Telecity acquired Ireland’s Data Electronics Group for almost £90m (see Telecity rounds off strong H1 with Irish acquisition). Big or small, Tobin loves ‘em all!
