Today’s the day that Autonomy is due to depart from the London Stock Exchange, almost 11 years after its shares were listed. Autonomy had previously IPO’d on the long defunct Easdaq in July 1998. Autonomy’s delisting will leave a huge hole in the FTSE SCS (Software & Computer Services) sector; at £6.2b market cap (as at the end of October), Autonomy comprised almost 27% of the aggregate market cap of all the 110 UK-headquartered SCS companies listed on the LSE Main and Aim markets.
