Delcam, the UK CAD/CAM provider, is set for a good H2 even though it doesn’t look like it will match its record breaking H1 (see here). When the H1 results were released, chairman Peter Miles cautioned at that H2 was difficult to predict but said the company was hopeful that the upward trend in sales would continue – nothing unusual there. Reading between the lines of the sparse trading update it looks like sales have continued but the rate of increase has slowed.
The overall picture is good though – sales for the full year are expected to be in the region of £40m, which would be a new high. All regions have performed well but Germany was especially notable. Delcam is faring better that transforming Aveva, whose interests overlap with Delcam, (see Aveva hovers in H1 and promises for H2) but overall it looks like business is holding up in the space.
