Tiny UK-headquartered, but US-focused, media production software firm, Zoo Digital, is still seeing its revenues slip backwards (see Growth stalls as Zoo makes maiden profit). Turnover for the year (to 31st March) will come in $1m shy of the prior year, at $14m, with operating profit tagged at c.$1.3m. This suggests they did indeed have a tougher H2 as first-half OP was some $880k. No word as to how much new business they are deriving from their investment in US-based packaging company, Multi Packaging Solutions (see Zoo feeds on US packaging), but I guess we’ll hear more when the FY results are announced in June. Meanwhile TechMarketView Foundation Service clients can learn about this interesting ‘Little British Battler’ in our CompanyViews note, Zoo Digital - Making it in Hollywood.
