Our eagle-eyed readers have pointed out that Richard Christou was the legal counsel to ICL – not the CFO – before he was appointed CEO in Aug 2000 when Keith Todd departed. See my post Richard Christou to retire from Fujitsu. I’m certainly not going to argue as clearly Christou had served in that role with ITT and STC (at one time the parent to ICL) since 1975.
Indeed Christou has a Law degree from Cambridge and has written four books “International Agency, Distribution and Licensing Agreements”, “Boilerplate – Practical Clauses”, “Sales & Supply of Goods & Services” and “Drafting Commercial Agreements”. And a riveting read I am sure they all are!
