ILX Group, AIM-listed provider of e-learning software and business training, has announced that its CEO Ken Stott is to leave the company for business pastures new. He will leave at the end of the year but stepped down from the Board on 27th November. Wayne Bos, who only joined the Board as Executive Chairman in August this year, will assume the role of interim CEO.
Stott is described as the “architect and driver of the business transformation which has taken place” within the Group since his appointment in 2002. Recently, though the business has been growing worldwide, the UK business has been struggling – in the year to 31st March 2012 UK turnover dropped by 11% to £7.9m. Stott’s experience will surely be missed as the company tries to turn things around on its home turf.
