As regular readers know, we don’t normally ‘do’ deal announcements unless they are in the mega league. But sometimes a ‘strategically significant’ win is well worthy of mention. Such is the case for tiny UK-based operations management software firm (and Queen’s Award winner!), AOM International, which has scored its first direct sale into the UK public sector, at the DWP. It’s great to see that ‘Little British Battlers’ can indeed win in central government on their own merits.
By the way, when we lauded AOM, Delcam and IDBS for their recent Queen’s Awards (see A great day for ‘Little British Battlers’), we were alerted to a ‘Little Scottish Battler’ that also was so honoured – Craneware. Again, congrats all round.
