We sometimes use HotViews to 'sound off' when the service we get is not up to the mark. Today I had the opposite experience. The headphone jack on my iPad stopped working. To be honest, I thought it was something I'd done.
Anyway, as I was passing the Apple Store I popped in, made an immediate appointment at the Genius bar and was seen within minutes. Very knowledgeable guy confirmed it was a hardware fault but also said that even though it was well over the 12 month warranty they would replace. So I walked out with a brand new iPad1 (he laughed when I asked if I could have an iPad2 in replacement). The whole procedure took less than 20 minutes.
I was mega impressed.
