Having bet much of its business on the healthcare market, workforce management software company, Allocate Software, is continuing its push into the financially troubled sector with the £2.0m (A$3.0m) acquisition of Australian RosterOn.
As a fellow workforce management player with a healthcare business line, RosterOn complements Allocate’s portfolio and business strategy. It brings 68 customers, 43 of which are in the healthcare sector. 70% of its A$3.0m revenues come from its healthcare customers. Unaudited figures for the year ending 30th June showed A$0.6m in EBITA. Allocate believes the acquisition will increase earnings in the financial year ending 31st May 2012, after the deals costs are taken out.
Allocate has been making a name for itself in healthcare and we have identified it as a vendor to watch (see Allocate Software is ‘one to watch’ in UK healthcare) and it has progressed steadily over the last year or more, despite it sounding a note of caution in a trading update from March of this year.
